Embarkation
Check-in begins at 11:00am. The Bahamas Celebration is scheduled to leave at 5:30 pm out of the Port of Palm Beach. Please verify the scheduled sailing time. Guests are required to be onboard the ship at least 90 minutes (by 4:00) prior to departure. When the ship returns to the Port of Palm Beach, please allow 1-2 hours before debarkation for Customs and Immigration clearance. Passengers departing from local airports should schedule their flight after 12:00 noon to allow sufficient time.
Liability
Celebration Cruise Line expressly disclaims any responsibility for personal injury or property damage arising from the acts or negligence of any air carrier, hotel or any other person rendering any of the services offered in addition to the actual ship’s cruise. Celebration Cruise Line shall not be responsible for any damage or inconvenience caused by late air, hotel overbooking and car or motor coach arrivals nor for the damage to baggage, automobiles or other property of the guest occurring off the vessel. Safe Deposit Boxes are available at the Purser’s Desk for your convenience, at no charge.

Luggage
Each guest may bring onboard 3 pieces of baggage (reasonably sized) free of charge. All luggage must be stored in the passenger’s stateroom. Alcoholic beverages, pets, dangerous or illegal items such as weapons, explosives, combustible substances or non-prescription controlled substances may not be brought onboard the ship. Any such items shall be surrendered to security at embarkation and may be disposed of at the sole discretion of the Cruise Line. All luggage hand carried or checked is subject to search. Liability for luggage is limited to the amount of $300 per ticket. The liability can be increased if, upon embarkation, the guest declares the true value of the property in writing and pays 5% of the true value declared in excess of $300 to Celebration Cruise Operator, Inc., in which case the cruise line’s liability will be limited to the value declared not to exceed $5,000.
Minors
Guests under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult if boarding the Bahamas Celebration. There must be an adult over the age of 18 in the cabin with guests under 18 years of age.
Health Conditions
If you have a medical condition which requires you to take prescription medication or to receive medical attention during the course of your cruise, please consult with your physician prior to traveling. Passengers with special needs such as requiring oxygen for medical conditions, seeing eye dogs, or hearing impaired must make this request known at the time of booking. A physician or nurse are on call 24-hours a day on every cruise to perform basic medical procedures. The physician and nurse are not employees of the cruise line and will charge their prevailing fees for services provided at your request. Neither Celebration Cruise Operator, Inc or Celebratiion Cruise Line are liable for any death, personal injury, illness or personal distress caused by reason of any medical treatment, diagnosis, advice, examination, prescription or any other service received from the physician and nurse. The Cruise Line may refuse to transport or may disembark at any port, any passenger who may be suffering from contagious or infectious disease, ill health or whose presence may be detrimental to the comfort or safety of other passengers or the crew, or who may be excluded from landing at a destination by immigration or other Governmental Authorities. Carrier reserves the right to refuse passage to women entering their 24th week of pregnancy. In such cases the guest shall not be entitled to any refund of fare or compensation.
What about tipping?
For your convenience, gratuities are charged to your onboard charge card at $12 per person, per day. This covers all food and cabin services provided to you by your Cabin Steward, Waiter, Busboy and Maitre d’. Other staff members may be tipped as services are rendered. Please note that a 15% service charge will be included on all bar, wine and Spa & Salon tabs. This is standard in the cruise industry.Will baby-sitting be available?
A program of supervised children's activities in three age-appropriate children's clubs. are available. Private baby-sitting is not available.
Will I need a passport or visa?
All U.S. citizens must have valid proof of citizenship - a passport, original or certified birth certificate or certified naturalization certificate. Resident aliens must travel with their "Green Card" Alien registration cards. Guests from other countries must possess a valid passport and should check with their travel agent or appropriate consulate to determine other necessary travel documentation. All guests over 16 years must carry a Government issued picture ID - state or provincial driver's license with a picture or a government photo ID card.YOU WILL NEED A PASSPORT TO STAY OVERNIGHT ON THE ISLAND.
What should I pack?
Dress Code – Dress is generally casual. Dinner and evening attire is casual elegance, with proper attire required for the Crystal, Rio's and Cove restaurants, including collared shirts, blouses, pants, dresses and skirts. Tank tops and swimsuits are not permitted in the dining areas or public lounges.
What about personal belongings?
Celebration is not responsible for theft or loss so be sure all baggage and personal belongings are properly insured and labeled with the owner's name, address, and ship's name, cabin number and sailing date. Suitcases should be securely locked. Please personally carry all medications, jewelry, fragile items, valuables and important documents on and off the ship. Any luggage left at the pier will be forwarded at the guest's expense.
Can I use cellular phones on Celebration Cruise Line?
Enjoy the convenience of using your cellular phone to keep in touch with friends and family while sailing on the Bahamas Celebration. In order to use your cell phones onboard, you might need to first activate the roaming service by calling your cellular provider. The network gets activated when the ship is at sea, out of reach from land and your regular cellular provider. When the service becomes available, your cellular phone will display either MCP or 901 12 or indicate Digital Roaming. This service is charged via your home cellular provider at international roaming rates for exact pricing, please check with your home operator.
What's included in the cruise price?
Your fare includes shipboard accommodations, ocean transportation, all meals (except if opting for The Cove Restaurant) and onboard entertainment. Conference price includes resort 2 night stay, breakfast and lunch, conference sessions and beach time plus taxes and tips.
What's not included?
Transportation to and from the ship, parking, shore excursions, bar beverages, soft drinks, phone calls, photographs and items you may choose to purchase that are not specifically stated. Celebration Cruise Line reserves the right to charge an additional fuel supplement of up to $9 per person per day on all passengers, to be collected at time of embarkation without prior notice, in the event that the price of light sweet crude oil according to the NYMEX (New York Mercantile Exchange Index) is greater than $40 per barrel of oil.
